Natalie Cooke P.T., BSc Physio, CST-D, cert Rehab Pilates, MNZSP, MNSP
Natalie began her career in health care as a physiotherapist, receiving her undergraduate physiotherapy training from the University of Cape Town, South Africa – graduating in 1999. Soon after this, in 2002, Natalie took her first CranioSacral Therapy course in Scotland, UK, and was hooked. She completed her advanced training in 2008, techniques certification in 2009, and since has earned a diplomat level certification with Upledger Institute. In addition to Physiotherapy and CranioSacral Therapy, Natalie is a certified Polestar rehabilitation Pilates instructor and has completed postgraduate training in a variety of manual and exercise therapy approaches as well as in integrative research and Pain Science.
Natalie applies this blend of Physiotherapy, CranioSacral Therapy, clinical Pilates, and neurophysiological education in her work with chronic pain – an area she has worked in extensively since graduating - in South Africa, England, and New Zealand.
Natalie currently balances being mum to two boys with consulting from her private practice, Thrive Beyond Pain in Glendowie, Auckland, and providing talks on understanding Pain in a variety of community settings.
